Andrea Piparo

A freelance artist and illustrator, he attended art school and later the International School of Comics in Rome.

Always passionate about drawing and painting, in 2013 he produced some illustrations for the State Police Calendar and other calendars commissioned by private individuals.

His fondness for the fantastic, and in particular for the works of Tolkien, led him in 2014 to hold his first solo exhibition on fantasy themes, and also in 2014 he took part in various events, including Fantastika in Dozza (BO), where he will return as a guest in the second and third editions.

In 2015 he took part in the exhibition "The Magic of the Ring" in Milan, together with some internationally renowned artists, and in "The Hobbit Day" organised by Warner Bros at Villa Borghese in Rome and later at the "Hobbit Village" in Barletta (PU).

In 2016 he participated in the two annual editions of Romics in Rome and as a guest at the Unicorn Festival in Vinci (FI).

He currently collaborates with the Swiss agency MIA (Milan Illustration Agency) and has already published two colouring books on the epic world created by Tolkien.
