Miriam Barbieri

I was born in the summer of 1996, my identity card has no ipsilon due to a small mistake at the registry office. In my quiet, introverted childhood, I realised that drawing was the only way for me to communicate, through the stories I invented. I enrolled in art school and then in the painting course at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. I never graduated because I decided to change course: I decided to become an illustrator and attended the Scuola del Fumetto and the Mimaster in Milan for four years.

I published children's books for small publishers, using a cartoon style and traditional techniques.
